Greg Gibson will sign copies of his new book, "Hubert's Freaks." Inside this book is the unbelieveable-but true story of a Times Square freak show, a tattooed man, a Nigerian prince, a gorgeous snake dancer, Diane Arbus, bizarre art world dealings, a troubled man named Bob Langmuir—and a once-in-a-lifetime glimpse into a forgotten world of society’s castoffs.
Proceeds will benefit the ABAA's Benevolent Fund.
Nicholas Basbanes will be appearing at the New York Antiquarian Book Fair on Saturday April 5, 2008 from 2-3pm signing his lastest book, Editions & Impressions: Twenty Years on the Book Beat.
Copies of Mr. Basbanes' book will be available for sale and profits will be donated to the ABAA Benevolent Fund. Fair visitors are welcome to bring their own copies of Mr. Banbanes' books, he would be happy to sign them.
The Antiquairan Booksellers' Benevolent Fund is a non-profit charity fund established in 1952 to benefit any antiquarian bookseller in time of personal need.
On Sunday April 6 at 10am please check out Homeward Bound: Returning Displaced Books and Manuscripts at the Bonnie J. Sacerdote Leture Hall at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
